My Butterfly Cancer

My Butterfly Cancer is the shockingly-harsh and honest look into a year in the life of a cancer patient. Follow the author as she walks the difficult road from diagnosis of leukemia, all the way to remission, and beyond, and find out how the butterfly effect that started with cancer changed her life…for the better! This book is available in print and for Kindle, and after December 9 will be available for Nook, iPhone, Kobo, and more. Also in December, this title will be available in audiobook format from Audible, iTunes, and Amazon.

Markie Madden is a 39 year old married, mother of two daughters who currently lives in the small town of Fisk, Missouri, in the United States. She grew up in Flushing, Michigan, where she graduated from high school. While there, she began to write and even attended a young author’s conference. As an adult, Markie made many attempts to publish, first on her own, then using a literary agent, but she continued to be rejected. Finally, in 2012, she published her first novel, Once Upon a Western Way, as an independent author and publisher through Smashwords. In 2014, after cancer took her from the traditional workforce, she began to spend more time in writing and publishing, and now has three books to her credit. She is working on several other projects, including converting her books to audio format, and working on a new series called The Undead Unit Series.
